First, open Google Drive in your preferred web browser. Click on “New” option.

Please select “File Upload" from the categories -

Choose the XLS or XLSX file you wish to convert into a CSV from your device.

Once the upload is complete, you can access the file by clicking on the notification at the bottom right corner of the screen.

Open the file in Google Sheets by clicking on it. Once open, go to the 'File' menu, select 'Download,' and then choose 'Comma-separated values (.csv)'.

Your file will be converted to CSV format and downloaded to your computer.
