The Role

Finofo is looking for a Marketing Designer to join our Growth team. The Growth team is responsible for driving demand generation, customer acquisition, and retention. As a Marketing Designer, you will lead the design of creative assets for digital campaigns, social media, sales, and email marketing efforts. You’ll work closely with marketing, product, and sales team members to deliver compelling visuals that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.

This is an opportunity to work on building a brand in the financial services industry from the ground up.

What You’ll Do:
  • Own the design of marketing collateral that showcases the unique aspects of our product and brand to drive conversion and engagement across channels including:
  • Digital assets: email newsletters, website, blog, podcast, digital pamphlets, and social media posts
  • Performance based assets: marketing landing pages, paid social campaigns, email promotions
  • Physical: posters, mailers, fliers, merchandize, signs
  • Brand collateral design and print production
  • Presentation templates
  • Translate concepts from creative briefs, brand guidelines and style guides into effective marketing collateral
  • Work cross-functionally, creating strong internal and external partnerships
  • Work with our Growth and Product teams to analyze campaign performance and optimize our marketing assets to align with what will perform best
  • Work with our Sales team to support pitching, onboarding, and managing customers
  • Develop repeatable processes for creating and delivering work efficiently and at scale
  • Set an extremely high bar for the quality of design
Your Skillset:
  • 3+ years of experience in graphic design & production
  • Excellent visual design skills, including color, typography, layout, and other foundational design principles
  • Ability to marry the written word with visual design to create powerful compelling messages, as well as have an understanding of brand narrative and storytelling
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc
  • Experience with Adobe After Effects or other motion graphics software
  • Experience with Webflow is a plus
  • Solid understanding of web/mobile standards, responsive design, UX, email, digital ad campaigns & social networks
  • Demonstrated ability to balance speed with excellent quality of execution, understanding the right moments of check in and iteration at project stages
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple competing priorities and ambiguous circumstances
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with familiarity or comfort working with minimal direction
  • Excellent organization skills, with the ability to create easily replicable and scalable process systems
Interview Process

Recruiter Screen: This is an opportunity for us to get to know you better and learn about your career aspirations.

Design Interview: You'll meet with the hiring team to discuss your past projects and do a live design task as an improvement to one of your existing projects.

Final Round: A more in-depth conversation with the co-founders to understand your journey and assess cultural fit. We ensure there is ample time for you to ask questions.
